Information is used to assess nominations, verify claims, confer and record awards, and respond to enquiries about the awards framework.
Legal basis for processing
Processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest in administering the awards framework, and on consent where a nominee provides information directly.
Retention
Nomination and conferral records are retained for the life of the award record so that any conferral can be confirmed. Unsuccessful nominations are retained for three years.
Your rights
Individuals may request access to their personal data, correction of inaccurate records, erasure where retention is no longer required, and restriction of processing.
Security
Nomination material is stored on access-controlled systems, with access limited to staff and assessors with a defined role in the relevant award.
