Advanced Diploma in Innovation Management
Course Overview
The Advanced Diploma in Innovation Management at the London School of International Business and Management (LSIBM) is designed for the head of innovation or corporate venturing lead running full portfolios, venturing programmes and open-innovation ecosystems inside UK corporates. Sitting in the Entrepreneurship & Executive Studies faculty at Level 5, the diploma spans 12 to 15 months on-campus in central London, fully online, or by distance learning. Content is calibrated against the UK Corporate Governance Code’s expectations on innovation spend and Innovate UK collaboration frameworks.
The programme is designed around IOEE senior-practitioner and CMI Level 5 innovation-leadership competencies. You will graduate able to design a corporate innovation function, lead an internal venturing programme, and defend a scale-up business case to a board committee. Tutors are drawn from working UK PLC heads of innovation, corporate venture-capital partners and R&D directors, so feedback lands in the vocabulary a real investment committee would use. The sections below detail modules, audience and progression.
