Diploma in Managerial Finance
Course Overview
The Diploma in Managerial Finance at the London School of International Business and Management (LSIBM) is a Level 4 practitioner qualification for finance professionals moving from an assistant role into management-accounting, FP&A or finance-business-partner responsibility. Sitting inside the Accounting, Finance & Economics faculty, the Diploma sequences the CIMA Operational Level, ACCA Applied Skills FMA/PM and CGMA competency framework into a single working course, so graduates leave able to run a monthly close, defend a budget and business-partner with an operational team. The rollout of HMRC’s Making Tax Digital regime shapes every tax touchpoint in the syllabus, and case studies use anonymised UK mid-market accounts that resemble the filings on Companies House today.
Delivered over nine to twelve months, the Diploma is taught by working management accountants — the sort you meet at CIMA London events — with fortnightly cohort clinics. The Diploma in Managerial Finance is available on-campus in central London, fully online, or by distance learning, and articulates directly onto LSIBM’s Advanced Diploma in Managerial Finance. Every cohort closes with a live re-forecast defence in front of a serving UK Finance Director.

Why Study at LSIBM
The London School of International Business and Management (LSIBM) is a specialist business-education provider based in central London and part of Harold International College. We teach in small cohorts so every student is visible to their tutor, run a single intake schedule that students can rely on, and partner with UK professional bodies — CMI, CIM, CIPD, ACCA, CIMA, CFA UK, CIPS and IOE&IT — so qualifications carry weight with employers.
London puts the City, Canary Wharf, Whitehall, Companies House, the FCA, the Bank of England and the West End within a short tube ride of every classroom. Diploma cohorts run structured cohort clinics with working practitioners — a Big-Four tax adviser, a CIM Fellow in marketing, a CIPD-chartered HR director — so students meet professional expectations well before graduation.
