About London Online School of Languages

The London Online School of Languages (LOSL), a specialist online division of Harold International College of London, exists to teach ambitious language learners anywhere in the world to communicate, examine and teach at an internationally recognised standard. Programmes span general and academic English, IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge preparation, TESOL and teacher training, business English, applied linguistics, translation studies and modern languages including French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, Arabic and Japanese — at Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor and Master levels.

Every programme is delivered fully online. Live cohort classes run on Zoom and Teams; interactive self-paced modules are always available; recorded sessions and one-to-one tutor feedback complete the learning cycle. Tutors are London-based, professionally qualified language teachers and applied linguists — with cohorts drawn from more than sixty countries in every intake. Curriculum design is reviewed each year against Cambridge, IELTS, TESOL and academic English standards, and against the real communicative demands of the workplaces our graduates enter.

LOSL's mission is straightforward: help students speak, write, teach and examine in the languages that open international opportunities — without the cost or dislocation of relocating to London. We pursue that mission through structured live teaching, disciplined self-paced practice, honest feedback and a curriculum built in conversation with the sectors our graduates go on to join.
