The London School of Petroleum and Energy (LSPE), a specialist division of Harold International College of London, exists to educate the engineers, HSE specialists, energy traders and transition leaders the global energy sector is competing to hire. Programmes span petroleum engineering, drilling and well engineering, reservoir management, refining and petrochemicals, HSE and process safety, energy economics, renewables and the energy transition — at Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor and Master levels.
Every programme is co-designed with industry partners across the North Sea, GCC, West Africa and Latin American energy markets — plus renewable-power developers reshaping European grids. Curricula are reviewed each year against live employer demand; faculty are practising reservoir engineers, HSE specialists, refinery operators, traders and consultants; and specialist labs are kept current with the software and simulators industry actually deploys.
LSPE's mission is straightforward: graduate energy professionals employers want to hire — for petroleum today and every energy tomorrow. We pursue that mission through rigorous teaching, project-based learning and a curriculum built in conversation with the industries our students go on to join. Our cohort is international, our standards are non-negotiable, and our focus stays on outcomes graduates can point to on day one.
