Enquiries are submitted using the published enquiry form and should describe the provision, institution, and timeline concerned. Submitting an enquiry does not itself commit either party to a review; the academy confirms scope, evidence requirements, and timelines before any review begins.
3. Assessment and decisions
Where a validation or institutional quality review proceeds, it is carried out against the academy's published quality principles and framework. Outcomes are communicated in writing to the institution or individual concerned.
4. Use of review outcomes
Outcome documentation issued by HIQAAA describes the scope and findings of the review undertaken. It may be referenced accordingly, and should not be presented as an endorsement, licence, or accreditation beyond what is expressly stated in the documentation issued.
5. Concerns about a review
Any concern about the conduct or outcome of a review or validation may be raised in writing with the academy using the contact details below. The academy will consider the concern and respond.
