About London School of Oil & Gas Management

The London School of Oil and Gas Management (LSOGM), a specialist division of Harold International College of London, exists to educate the engineers, operators and commercial leaders the global energy sector is competing to hire. Programmes span petroleum and reservoir engineering, drilling and completions, upstream and downstream operations, energy economics and trading, HSE management, offshore engineering and the transition to lower-carbon energy, at Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor and Master levels.

Every programme is co-designed with industry partners across the UK energy sector, North Sea operators and international energy companies. Curricula are reviewed each year against live employer demand; faculty are practising petroleum engineers, HSE managers, drilling supervisors and energy economists; and specialist facilities reflect the software, standards and safety procedures the industry actually uses. Students leave LSOGM with evidenced capability — reservoir models built and defended, drilling plans reviewed, HSE case studies argued, and commercial scenarios stress-tested against real market conditions.

LSOGM's mission is straightforward: graduate professionals the energy sector wants to hire — for the fields it is running today and for the decarbonised energy system it is building. We pursue that mission through rigorous teaching, industry-aligned project work and a curriculum built in conversation with the operators, contractors and regulators our students go on to join. Our cohort is international, our standards are non-negotiable, and our focus stays on what graduates can actually do on rig, in a control room, on a trading desk and in a boardroom.
