Bachelor in Aviation Safety & Security Management

Bachelor in Aviation Safety & Security Management at HICL

The Bachelor in Aviation Safety & Security Management is a serious degree for a serious part of the industry. Safety and security are not glamorous corners of aviation, but they are the corners that keep everything else running — and the people who do them well are the difference between operations that absorb a difficult day and operations that make headlines for the wrong reasons.

If you are drawn to aviation but the cockpit or the cabin is not your destination, and you are interested in systems, risk, regulation and the careful work of preventing things rather than reacting to them, the Bachelor in Aviation Safety & Security Management is built for you.

Why this discipline matters

Aviation has the safety record it does because the industry takes prevention seriously. Safety Management Systems, just culture, hazard reporting, threat assessment, security screening protocols — these are the unglamorous infrastructure beneath every uneventful flight. A graduate of the Bachelor in Aviation Safety & Security Management is trained to operate within that infrastructure and, in time, to lead it.

Who This Bachelor Is For

• School leavers with a strong interest in aviation who want a technical management career path.
• Ground crew, security officers and ramp staff already in the industry who want to move into safety leadership roles.
• Career changers from emergency services, military or maritime safety backgrounds.
• International students aiming to work in regulatory authorities or airline safety departments.

Where Graduates Go
