Bachelor in International Hospitality Management

Bachelor in International Hospitality Management at HICL

The Bachelor in International Hospitality Management is a three-year undergraduate degree designed for students who want to build a long career in hotels, resorts and international hospitality groups — not just a first job in the industry. It treats hospitality as a serious global business and trains the operational, financial and people skills that managers actually use.

It is aimed at school leavers and early-career staff who already know they enjoy guest-facing service work and want to move into management roles within a structured timeframe.

What makes the international angle real

Hospitality is one of the few industries where you genuinely will sit in a meeting with colleagues from five countries and serve guests from a dozen more. Cultural fluency is not a soft skill in this sector; it is part of the operational currency. The Bachelor in International Hospitality Management spends real time on this rather than treating it as an HR footnote — you will look at cross-cultural service norms, language considerations, and how brand standards translate (or do not) between regions.

Who This Degree Is For

School leavers planning a management career in hotels or resorts.
Hospitality staff already working in housekeeping, front office or F&B who want a formal undergraduate degree.
International students aiming for hotel group graduate schemes.
Family-business candidates entering hotel or restaurant ownership.

Career Pathways

Graduates typically enter hotel group graduate programmes, or move into front office supervisor, F&B supervisor, sales coordinator, revenue analyst and event operations roles. Over time, many progress to head of department and general manager positions. The Bachelor in International Hospitality Management is a recognised starting point for that trajectory.
