Master in Aviation Management — London

Master in Aviation Management at HICL

The Master in Aviation Management is the postgraduate qualification for people targeting senior roles in the airline and airport industries - Station Manager, Operations Director, Airport Manager, Airline Commercial Manager, or specialist senior roles in safety, security and regulatory compliance.

Aviation is one of the most regulated industries on earth. Senior roles aren't filled on technical operating experience alone - employers want the strategic, commercial and regulatory depth that comes with a postgraduate qualification. This master's is built to provide that depth without pulling you out of work to do it.

Who Should Take This

Mid-career aviation professionals targeting senior management roles.
Operational specialists (safety, security, regulatory) moving into management.
Airport and airline commercial staff stepping up to strategic positions.
Career changers from related industries (logistics, military) entering aviation leadership.

What This Master's Adds

At senior aviation interviews, candidates are tested on commercial fluency, regulatory awareness, strategic thinking and the ability to talk about the industry beyond their own function. The master's gives you that breadth. Combined with operational experience, it's the package senior recruiters look for.

How the Programme Is Delivered

The Master in Aviation Management is offered on-campus in London, fully online, and via distance learning. Most students mix modes around their work schedule. Module sequence is confirmed at enrolment.
