BSc in Banking & Finance
Course Overview
The BSc in Banking & Finance at the London School of International Business and Management (LSIBM) is a three-year UK honours degree for students who want to work inside the City banking industry — the clearing banks off Cheapside, the challenger names in Shoreditch, or the trade-finance desks at Canary Wharf. Sitting in the Accounting, Finance & Economics faculty, this degree grounds banking in economics, quantitative methods, financial reporting and the working risk-and-capital framework that every UK bank operates under.
You will take a City-relevant curriculum from year one, complete a placement year option with a UK bank or fintech, and produce a final dissertation on a working banking question. The BSc in Banking & Finance is delivered on-campus in central London, fully online with UK/APAC cohort calls, or by distance learning, and closes with a City-facing project defended in front of a working banker.
