UK Higher Diploma in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM009)

UK Higher Diploma in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM009) at HICL

Hospitality and tourism operate at international scale and at very local detail at the same time. A hotel general manager has to balance brand standards set in another country with a guest experience that depends on people, suppliers and culture on the ground. The UK Higher Diploma in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM009) is built for staff stepping into this dual-pressure environment - supervisors moving into management, mid-career hospitality professionals broadening their scope.

It sits above an entry diploma and is industry-aligned, with the seriousness employers expect from a higher diploma.

The reality of senior hospitality and tourism work

Daily life is a mix of revenue management decisions, service recovery, staff coaching, supplier issues and the occasional crisis that has nothing to do with hospitality at all. The UK Higher Diploma in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM009) takes that seriously - sustainable development, guest experience design, cross-cultural leadership, and the commercial mechanics of running hotels, resorts and tour operations across borders.

Who This Diploma Is For

• Hotel supervisors moving toward department head and operations management.
• Tour operations professionals stepping up to regional or product manager roles.
• Graduates of hospitality certificates wanting to deepen and broaden their qualifications.
