BSc in E-Commerce Management
Course Overview
The BSc in E-Commerce Management at LSIBM is a three-year UK honours degree written for people who want to build careers running online retail businesses — D2C brands, multi-marketplace operators and digital-native scale-ups. Sitting in the Marketing, Media & Digital Business faculty, it combines the core business curriculum with an e-commerce specialism — conversion, catalogue, marketplace management, fulfilment and CRM.
You will complete an e-commerce placement year in year two (a UK D2C brand, a marketplace agency, or a retailer's dot-com team), sit an IMRG-aligned CRO capstone in year three, and defend a full e-commerce-strategy dissertation in front of a working head of e-commerce. The BSc in E-Commerce Management is available on-campus in central London, fully online with cohort calls scheduled across UK and APAC time zones, and by distance learning from 2026.
Key Features
- Curriculum reviewed against IMRG UK e-commerce competencies and CIM digital marketing units.
- Three study modes — central London campus, fully online with UK / APAC cohort calls, or distance learning.
- Placement year at a UK D2C brand, marketplace agency or retailer dot-com team.
- Live conversion-rate and marketplace briefs every year.
- Dissertation supervised by a working head of e-commerce.
- Final-year e-commerce-strategy capstone reviewed by an IMRG-affiliated practitioner.
What You Will Learn

- UK consumer law, distance selling and CMA priorities.
- Sustainability — returns economics, packaging and shipping emissions.

Why Study at LSIBM
The London School of International Business and Management (LSIBM) is a specialist business-education provider based in central London and part of Harold International College. Undergraduate cohorts sit in small groups so every student is visible to their tutor, run a single intake schedule students can rely on, and every degree route is reviewed against UK professional-body competencies — ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CIPD, CMI, CIPS, CFA UK and IOE&IT — so graduates carry a credential that City recruiters engage with.

Undergraduate students access a fortnightly practitioner clinic, at least one industry-careers day per academic year, a structured placement route and one-to-one application coaching in the final year.
