BSc in Marketing Management
Course Overview
The BSc in Marketing Management at LSIBM is a three-year UK honours degree written for people who want to build the strategic-marketing toolkit demanded by UK brands, agencies and scale-ups. Sitting in the Business & Management faculty, it combines the core business curriculum with a marketing specialism — consumer behaviour, marketing science, brand economics, marketing effectiveness and digital marketing.
You will complete a marketing placement year in year two (an in-house brand team, a London agency, or a scale-up growth function), sit a CIM Certificate-aligned campaign capstone in year three, and defend a full marketing-effectiveness dissertation in front of a working CIM Fellow. The BSc in Marketing Management is available on-campus in central London, fully online with cohort calls scheduled across UK and APAC time zones, and by distance learning from 2026.
Key Features
- Curriculum reviewed against the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing and IPA effectiveness thinking.
- Three study modes — central London campus, fully online with UK / APAC cohort calls, or distance learning.
- Placement year with a London agency, brand or scale-up growth function.
- Live client briefs in every year, marked by working practitioners.
- Dissertation supervised by a working CIM Fellow.
- Final-year marketing-effectiveness capstone reviewed by an agency planner.
What You Will Learn
The degree organises marketing management around what a UK graduate marketer is expected to be able to do — read a client brief, argue a strategy, structure a campaign, and interpret a brand tracker without hiding behind jargon.

- Strategic marketing — market definition, positioning, brand architecture.
- Brand valuation and brand economics.

- Marketing effectiveness under the IPA framework.
- Marketing analytics — attribution, MMM, brand-tracker interpretation.
- UK regulatory context — CAP Code, GDPR, Digital Markets Act.

Why Study at LSIBM
The London School of International Business and Management (LSIBM) is a specialist business-education provider based in central London and part of Harold International College. Undergraduate cohorts sit in small groups so every student is visible to their tutor, run a single intake schedule students can rely on, and every degree route is reviewed against UK professional-body competencies — ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CIPD, CMI, CIPS, CFA UK and IOE&IT — so graduates carry a credential that City recruiters engage with.
London puts the City, Canary Wharf, Whitehall, Companies House, the FCA, the Bank of England and the West End within a short tube ride of every classroom. Undergraduate students access a fortnightly practitioner clinic, at least one industry-careers day per academic year, a structured placement route and one-to-one application coaching in the final year.
